NEW SOLUTIONS FOR BETTER PERFORMANCE
Our warehouse management software forms the central interface between our ERP and Autostore system and ensures smooth and efficient process handling in our logistics. Therefore, the 10,000 sqm storage space can be used optimally, with storage areas being clearly assigned.In addition to optimizing the routes of our staff, our software also offers a very low susceptibility to errors and reduces paper consumption in our company through the digitization of warehouse processes. Our logistics also ensure high processing speed and network stability by expanding our warehouses with modern PC systems, handheld scanners, roller conveyors and high-availability Wi-Fi. Our warehouse management software thus optimizes storage, picking, and shipping with regard to shortened drives and chassis, sustainability in our warehouse and digitization of logistic processes. As a result, we offer faster response and processing times for incoming orders and make efficient use of our existing storage capacity.
AUTOMATATION BY AUTOSTORE
In order to make the best use of our existing storage space, we have opted for AutoStore, an innovative system for automatic storage and picking. Using a rail system (grid), containers are picked up by high-speed robots, sorted and delivered directly to the coupled port for incoming or outgoing goods. Autostore allows us to increase order accuracy and reduce order processing and shipping time. This compact storage solution includes 14,200 bins that are currently in use and promotes storage. Additionally, an expansion with 6,800 containers has been prepared and can be activated immediately if necessary.By expanding our warehouses with Autostore, we have been able to reduce the space required by around 75% compared to the previous storage setup, creating more space for additional goods.
Besides rapid availability, the system is also very energy-efficient. The high-speed robots that are used save energy by returning it to the battery during operation. This process is known as recuperation. Powered by the most modern technology and analytics, the system rationalizes storage without any errors.
NEW BUILDING: LOGISTICS OF THE FUTURE
To meet the high demands of our partners regarding availability and delivery times, our new building was constructed in 2023, adding another warehouse and office space. The 11,400 sqm plot increases our existing warehouse and office space enormously. Within our new building, a new warehouse with a total of 10,500 pallet spaces was built on an area of 5,000 sqm.
Besides many new offices, there is also a modern showroom in our new building, which represents our product range and company. Moreover, you will come across an innovative laboratory that is used for product and quality controls as part of our quality management system.
In this building we also promote sustainability wherever possible. Our hall roof is equipped with a photovoltaic system to generate energy in an environmentally friendly way. Furthermore, the new building was constructed under sustainable conditions and is not only environmentally friendly but also resource-saving and energy-efficient. As part of the Bundesförderprogramm für effiziente Gebäude (BEG), our new building meets the BEG EG 40 efficiency standard.
